IT Software Engineer/Dev required to work on a Hybrid System. My client is based in Gravesend so you must be able to get into Gravesend/Kent, once or twice a week. Job purpose; You will be working in a small team with direct contact with stakeholders and users. One of the key operational systems the team is responsible for is the in-house Port Management system. This software is written in the lo-code framework, Uniface. Prior Uniface experience is desirable but not required as training will be provided for a candidate with the right skillset, attitude and willingness to learn. Job Responsibilities: Take business requirements from conception to implementation utilising the Uniface platform and the underlying SQL server infrastructure. Diagnose and resolve problems in a professional and timely manner, including providing 3rd line technical support. Skills required: 8 years + years'' hands on experience in developing and supporting business applications in an enterprise environment. Strong knowledge and experience of supporting and maintaining a SQL database server environment and associated database management. Technically proficient understanding of server-infrastructure, networking infrastructure, and cyber security infrastructure.
