Infrastructure Engineer

to join a dynamic production technology team. This role supports high-end film and television productions by bridging creative and technical workflows, ensuring seamless operation of IT, media systems, and production infrastructure.The position requires hands-on experience in on-set or production environments, strong IT and networking skills, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, time-sensitive situations.Key Responsibilities:Provide technical onboarding and training to production crews.Configure and support workstations, servers, networking infrastructure, and media storage systems (NAS/SAN).Deliver real-time technical support on set (camera connectivity, data wrangling, video village, etc.).Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware, software, and networking.Support pre-production, production, and post-production workflows.Collaborate closely with DITs, camera teams, editors, and post-production teams.Ensure secure handling, migration, and archiving of sensitive media data.Document technical setups and maintain system performance.Travel to studios, production offices, and filming locations as required.Qualifications:3+ years of on-set technical support or related role in film/TV/commercial production.Strong understanding of professional cinema camera systems (ARRI, RED, Sony, Canon).Proficiency in managing NAS/SAN systems and media transfer tools (Aspera, Signiant, Frame.io).Solid knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, security).Hands-on experience with macOS and Windows support.Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.Flexibility to travel extensively and work irregular hours when needed.Seniority level
