Marks Sattin are delighted to be partnering with a Private Equity backed, business to help appoint a Chief Financial Officer. They are currently at £40million revenue and looking to scale the business over the next 3-5 years.Responsibilities:Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organisation''s overall strategic objectivesOversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulatory requirements, and preparation for external auditsMonitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize capital structure to meet operational needs efficientlyReview and enhance financial controls and processes to mitigate risk and safeguard company assetsLead and develop a high-performing finance team, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvementProvide financial analysis and guidance to support business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate potential investments, partnerships, and MandA opportunitiesStay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and strategic financial managementEstablish and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial institutionsQualifications:Fully qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)Proven track record of success in a CFO, FD, or similar executive financial leadership roleDeep understanding of financial and accounting principles, procedures, and best practicesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insightsExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate financial information to non-financial stakeholdersAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environmentSeniority level
