You ll be working in a technically interesting space, supporting networks that underpin critical communications across satellite and terrestrial infrastructure. From a role perspective, this is ideal for a Network Engineer looking to move into a more project-led environment. The network estate is stable, so the focus is less on reactive support and more on building, improving and evolving network solutions. Day to day Your day to day will be centred around project delivery and network improvements, with a strong hands-on focus across Cisco and Fortinet technologies. You ll be designing and building network solutions, configuring routers, switches and firewalls, and working across routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, as well as VPN technologies including IPSEC. Alongside project work, you ll support the existing network estate where needed troubleshooting issues across WAN environments, analysing logs, and resolving more complex routing or firewall-related problems.
