Our client, a successful SME based in East Kilbride, is seeking a talented Finance Manager to lead their finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to step into a leadership role and drive financial efficiency within the organisation.It is mandatory to have previous staff management experience to be considered. Ideally, you will have a background in an SME environment. This is a hands on, varied position that is responsible for the smooth running of the finance team.The main responsibilities the position entails are:Oversee and manage daily finance functions including payroll, purchase ledger and credit controlPrepare monthly management accounts with a high level of accuracyManage a team of five individualsEnsure full compliance with HMRC regulations, including CIS, VAT and PAYE reportingPerform regular Balance Sheet and Intercompany reconciliationsPrepare and update weekly cash flow forecastSupport the preparation of year end accountsProvide Financial insights and operational support to the Financial ControllerAssist with the development of MxManage fixed assets and accruals and prepaymentsSupport the preparation of regular and adhoc financial data and variance analysis on a monthly basisTo be considered for the role, you must possess the following experience:Qualified or qualified by experience accountantSME background is idealStrong analytical ..... full job details .....
