One Year Fixed Term contract with a possible extension to two years depending on funding and pupils on roll We have a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is an excellent early years'' practitioner and is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities at Kintore Way Nursery School. Kintore Way has a long and established tradition of successfully supporting children with additional needs. From September 2025 to July 2027, we are running a pilot for a specially gathered SEN/D provision. We really want to evidence the impact that high quality early intervention has for children aged 3-4 with additional needs. You will lead a highly skilled and dedicated team of support staff to deliver the curriculum to a smaller group of children with SEN/D. You will contribute to whole school development and accurately observe, assess and review the progress of the children, feeding into the EHC needs'' assessment process. The class is fully resourced and set within our mainstream nursery with the opportunity for children to spend time in both spaces. There is also a wonderful sensory room that the children have daily access to. Additional support will be provided via commissioned Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy.
