Mechanical Design Engineer - Water Leading contractor working on long-term Thames Water and Southern Water projects Excellent opportunity for further progression and career development SSA are currently recruiting for a leading Civil Engineering and Utilities contractor who are looking to add a Mechanical Design Engineer to their successful MEICA team, working as part of their AMP8 frameworks for Thames Water and Southern Water. The role will involve: Production of mechanical detailed design submissions Working with design teams in the production of design and construction drawings and documentation Liasing with civil, electrical, process and operations teams Producing design deliverables including, but not limited to, PandIDs, hydraulic calculations, pipework layouts, pipework schedules, PandE schedules, Pipe supports/thrust design, Mechanical GAs and layouts Reviewing technical submissions Maintaining design input throughout project lifecycle, from initial feasbility thorugh to outline and detailed design, and construction/handover.
