Head of Property Services (South), ANCHOR HANOVER

We’re looking for an experienced leader to join our Property and Assets team as Head of Property Services. Reporting to the Director of Property Services, you will manage a multi-million-pound repairs and voids programme, ensuring our homes are safe, compliant, and maintained to the highest standards.Responsibilities

Leading the delivery of responsive repairs and voids services across a geographically dispersed housing portfolio.Managing a high-performing team to deliver repairs on time, first-time fixes, and fast turnaround of empty homes, in line with customer expectations and regulatory standards (including Awaab’s Law).Overseeing compliance with health and safety legislation, landlord responsibilities, and quality standards.Driving continuous improvement, service transformation, and a strong customer-first culture.Building collaborative relationships with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure value for money and excellent performance.Managing high-value contracts effectively, ensuring outcomes are on time, on budget, and to a high level of customer satisfaction.What We’re Looking For

Extensive experience leading responsive repairs and voids services within a large housing association or property organisation.A strong track record of delivering complex, high-value programmes and managing dispersed teams.Sound knowledge of housing legislation, compliance standards, and emerging government policy.Excellent leadership skills with experience inspiring teams through periods of significant change.Degree-level education (or equivalent) and ideally a professional qualification such as MCIOB or MRICSA Housing Management Qualification (CIH or equivalent) at Level 4 or above, or willing to work towards.Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.Why join us?
