Project Engineer - Structural & Demolition Works (London)

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our growing team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex and high-profile projects involving structural alterations and specialist construction techniques.

The Role

You will play a key role in delivering projects that include:

• Cut and carve developments
• Structural demolition and enabling works
• Reinforced concrete (RC) structures
• Basement construction and underpinning

You will be responsible for coordinating engineering activities, ensuring technical compliance, and supporting site teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate engineering aspects of projects from planning through to completion
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and structural designs
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards
• Monitor progress, quality, and cost performance
• Provide technical support and problem-solving on-site

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer within the construction industry
• Strong background in:
• Cut and carve projects
• Demolition and structural alterations
• RC frame construction
• Basement and substructure works
• Temporary and Permanent Works
• Degree or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Strong understanding of UK construction standards and regulations
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
