Area Sales Manager

Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer required to join a leading mechanical engineering supplier in the North East of the UK.
The successful Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer will-focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts-across for Industrial Engineering / MRO / Mechanical Power Transmission products such as bearings, seals, drives, motors, gearboxes, valves, lubrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, and other mechanical engineering products.
The successful Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer will-ideally-have experience selling or managing key accounts of mechanical / industrial products such as mechanical power transmission, bearings, gearboxes, drives, motors, automation, couplings, belts, chains, sprockets or similar industrial engineering products. Full product training provided.

Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer Role
- Focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts-across for Industrial Engineering / MRO / Mechanical Power Transmission products such as bearings, seals, drives, motors, gearboxes, valves, lubrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, and other mechanical engineering products.
- Maintaining-industrial mechanical engineering product-sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
- Work remotely-/ field based-with regular visits to customer sites across the Northeast of the UK.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer Requirements
- Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar-within industrial mechanical engineering.
- Must have experience of face to face meetings and booking appointments to see customers on a weekly basis.
- Will-ideally-have experience selling or managing key accounts of mechanical / industrial products such as mechanical power transmission, bearings, gearboxes, drives, motors, automation, couplings, belts, chains, sprockets or similar industrial engineering products. Full product training provided.
- Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed, grow, and bring on new business within Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering markets.
- Full clean driving license.
- Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites throughout the Northeast of the UK.
