Your new company We are currently partnering with a leading defendant firm seeking a talented Associate (2-5 PQE) to join its Catastrophic Injury team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a top-tier practice handling a broad, high-quality caseload.The successful candidate will support senior lawyers on complex, multi-track and large-loss matters while developing their own caseload of varied liability claims. The role offers exposure to high-value injury work and an opportunity to progress within a nationally recognised practice. A very competitive salary of up to £60,000 is available dependent on experience. You can expect a high-level of hybrid working. Your new roleAs a Catastrophic Loss Associate, you will be expected to: Manage a caseload of employers'' liability, public liability, motor, and other general casualty claims, covering both pre-litigated and litigated matters.Assist senior lawyers with intermediate, multi-track and catastrophic injury claims, including high-value and complex loss filesConduct legal research, draft pleadings, prepare witness statements, review medical and expert evidence, and support trial preparation.Undertake coverage analysis where required, applying commercial judgement and legal insight. Engage with clients and external stakeholders professionally, contributing to strong long-term relationships.Work collaboratively within a national team that handles cases involving cross-border quantum investigations.
