Shift Maintenance Engineer Warwickshire £47k+ 12hr shifts 7/7 4on/4off (days and nights) Electrical Bias Recycling and Manufacturing Hands-on Role A forward-thinking and award-winning manufacturing business is seeking a Shift Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team at a 24/7 Industrial manufacturing facility in the middle of Warwickshire. You ll play a vital role in keeping production moving through reactive repairs, planned maintenance, and continuous improvement. The role: Respond to and resolve machinery breakdowns safely and efficiently Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with the site schedule Diagnose and fix electrical and mechanical faults (roughly 60/40 split) Work on a range of equipment including extruders, shredders, washers, and wastewater systems Own your jobs from start to finish including accurate reporting and handovers Support continuous improvement efforts across the plant Maintain excellent housekeeping and contribute to a strong safety culture Candidate requirements: A recognised engineering qualification (electrical/mechanical) Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems Good understanding of PPM practices Ability to read technical drawings (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, PLCs) A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a solid team ethic Full UK driving licence Desirable but not essential: Time-served apprenticeship 18th ..... full job details .....
