Management Accountant (Xero Specialist) Location: Blyth Salary: £40,000 £45,000 (depending on experience) Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm Contract: Temporary to Permanent Overview We are a growing organisation seeking a proactive and commercially minded Management Accountant to join our team. This is a hands-on role with full ownership of the Xero accounting platform, playing a key part in delivering high-quality financial information and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders, providing meaningful financial insight and driving continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting. Key Responsibilities Own, manage and optimise the Xero accounting system, including integrated add-ons Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts (PandL, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow) Lead the budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes, including detailed variance analysis Manage the month-end close process, including accruals, prepayments and depreciation Monitor and analyse costs, providing actionable insight to support operational decision-making Prepare and submit VAT returns Support year-end processes and liaise with external auditors Contribute to ad-hoc projects, financial modelling, business cases and investment appraisals Identify and implement improvements to financial systems and processes Requirements Essential Part-qualified or newly qualified ..... full job details .....
