Support Assistant Location: Midhurst Job Type: Long term Start Date: Ongoing Pay: 89 - 93 per day (dependent on experience) We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and adaptable Support Assistant to support a fantastic primary school in the Midhurst area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who are passionate about supporting children and young people either 1-1 or class environment with additional needs and are looking for flexible work. The Role: Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties. Support students in accessing the curriculum and engaging positively in lessons. Implement EHCP targets and behaviour support strategies. Assist with personal care where required. Promote a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment. Work across a variety of primary and/or secondary settings. The Ideal Candidate Will: Have experience working with children or young people with SEN (school experience desirable). Be patient, resilient and proactive. Have strong communication and teamwork skills. Be committed to safeguarding and student wellbeing. Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS.
