This role sits in a team dedicated to delivering corporate insolvency engagements, focusing on statutory and reporting aspects of insolvency from appointment through to closure.The role targets individuals with experience in insolvency case work who want to progress their career in a client-facing environment in a busy, deadline-driven setting.
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases with ownership of proactive case progression and statutory compliance.Work alongside case managers and engagement leaders to provide support on corporate insolvency engagements.Ensure timely correspondence and respond to queries; prepare correspondence, minutes, file notes, emails, letters, schedules and analysis.Prepare budgets for engagements and VAT returns with supporting analysis; assist with drafting statutory and other reports.Participate in on-the-job training and development of less experienced team members; explain technical matters to colleagues and clients.Process receipts, arrange payment of invoices and complete journals; interact with appointees, appointers, directors, creditors, employees and other stakeholders.Ensure adherence to statutory and Interpath best practice requirements and compliance deadlines.Contribute to business development discussions and participate in occasional marketing events to develop networks.Attend to administrative tasks required by the role and support colleagues as needed.

Essential Education
3 A levels (C grades or above) with GCSE Maths and English.A university degree is preferable, but not a requirement.2 references available on request.
Essential Experience And Job Requirements
Interest in progressing a career in insolvency with existing case administrator experience, ideally with a statutory/technical background.Willingness to learn quickly and work as part of a team.Interest in commercial and financial matters with practical common sense and commercial awareness.Good time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritise and manage multiple assignments with deadlines.Committed, proactive, enthusiastic and able to produce high-quality, accurate work.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to deal confidently with all parties in challenging situations.Ability to work innovatively and self-start, individually or in a team; capable of assessing alternatives for specific case issues and presenting suggestions to the case manager and team.Willingness to participate in business development; flexible working options and occasional travel to client sites as required.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint); IPS experience is a plus.
