Qualified Nursery Practitioner – Permanent Role – Harlow

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Qualified Nursery Practitioner who is committed to providing exceptional care and education to young children within a supportive early years environment. The successful Qualified Nursery Practitioner will play an important role in supporting children''s development while contributing to the continued success of the nursery.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary between £26,000 and £32,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

The role:

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and professional Qualified Nursery Practitioner who is passionate about helping children reach their full potential. You will work as part of a dedicated team to deliver engaging learning experiences and ensure children receive the highest standards of care and education.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality childcare and education in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Plan and support engaging activities that encourage learning through play
• Observe, assess, and record children''s progress and development
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
• Support children''s emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times
• Promote positive behaviour and support children''s wellbeing
• Assist with daily routines, including meal times, personal care, and outdoor activities
• Work collaboratively with the wider nursery team to maintain outstanding standards

Qualifications and Experience:

• Level 3 Childcare Qualification (or equivalent) is essential
• Previous experience working as a Qualified Nursery Practitioner within an early years setting
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive and proactive approach to working with children and families
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• A genuine passion for early years education
