• A Level 3 or 4 qualification in Learning Support (or equivalent classroom-based experience)

• Proven experience supporting pupils in a 1:1 or small group capacity, across a range of learning and behavioural needs

• A compassionate, proactive approach, committed to delivering support that’s tailored to each child’s individual journey

• Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet all learners’ needs

• Supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of pupils across the classroom

• Helping maintain a calm, positive learning environment, with confident behaviour management strategies

• Assisting with the preparation of resources, classroom organisation, and daily routines

• Promoting inclusion and pupil wellbeing, ensuring every child feels seen, safe, and supported

• Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to deliver joined-up support plans

• Providing consistent help during transitions, playtimes, and small-group or structured activities
