Postdoctoral Research Associate In Microtubule Biology and Stress Responses

About the RoleA fully funded Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available to join a team led by Prof Susana Godinho to study the role of microtubule alterations in normal physiology and cancer. This project focuses on understanding the cellular changes that occur downstream of microtubule acetylation. Our laboratory uses various approaches, 2-/3-D cultures and mouse models, cutting-edge quantitative proteomics and imaging to understand microtubules impact cell physiology. We offer a vibrant and creative multidisciplinary environment, and the successful candidate will be supported to develop their scientific career and have an impact in the microtubule and cancer fields. More information about our research can be found here: About YouWe are looking for a talented and motivated scientist to join our team who has already obtained a PhD (or is close to completion) in a relevant biological subject. Significant research laboratory experience in cell biology, tissue culture and microscopy are essential. Knowledge/experience in the microtubule field is essential. The post holder most be organized, have good communication and interpersonal skills.
