The RoleA key role within a small, friendly and capable team, the role reports in to a line manager with an excellent track record for training and mentoring talented team members. Responsibilities will include:Month end reporting process, balance sheet controlsPreparation and processing of GL ledger journalsVariance and performance analysisMonitoring of KPIsReview and update standard costs, incl. material COGS and BOMsSupport stock control processSome (not much) invoice processingThe PersonManagement Accounting experience - accruals and prepayments, etcManufacturing sector expertise - highly desirableExcel skills - intermediate (vlookups, sumifs, pivots, etc.)As important as practical experience are the personal qualities sought - curiosity, keenness to learn, and a positive and proactive approach.
