OM Search Consultants is delighted to be working with a private equity backed business on their search for a hands-on Financial Controller to lead their finance function and drive strategic financial performance.

The Company 

The company is a rapidly expanding manufacturer known for innovation, quality, and operational excellence. As they scale, they''re in search for a financial leader who can bring structure, insight, and strategic direction to our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance.
  
• Develop and implement robust financial controls and processes.
  
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
  
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and cost control initiatives.
  
• Partner with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
  
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
  
• Mentor and develop a small finance team.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
  
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP systems.
  
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
  
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  
• Comfortable working in a hands-on capacity with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
