Quantity Surveyor - Nottingham / Remote Our client, based in Nottingham, is looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor with strong commercial acumen. You will join a dynamic operations team and play a key role in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of diverse projects and service contracts. In this role, you ll provide expert contractual advice, oversee project costs, and collaborate with departments such as the bid and technical teams to enhance our business processes. Key Responsibilities As a Quantity Surveyor, you will: Provide expert contractual advice to operational delivery teams. Administer the commercial and contractual aspects of assigned projects and contracts. Manage project costs, drive value, and identify opportunities for savings. Prepare and submit payment applications and evaluate subcontractor applications. Oversee supplier and subcontractor agreements, ensuring compliance with contractual terms. Identify and manage risks, including variations and changes to project scope. Compile and submit KPIs, job costings, and financial reports. Assess contractor and supplier claims, making recommendations for settlements. Finalise contractor accounts and close out contracts.
