We are looking for an experienced FRA Carpenters to lead a high-volume fire safety project. This is a specialist role requiring precision and a deep understanding of fire safety compliance-generic internal door-hanging experience will not be sufficient for this position. Mandatory RequirementsComposite Experience: You MUST have previous experience specifically hanging composite fire doors.PFP/FRA Background: A solid background in Passive Fire Protection (PFP) and Fire Risk Actions (FRA).Technical Skill: Ability to work to strict manufacturer data sheets and British Standards (e.g., maintaining 2-4mm perimeter gaps and correct intumescent seal placement).Tools and Transport: You must have your own car/van and full set of tools. Key ResponsibilitiesFull installation of new composite fire door sets.Ensuring all installations meet FD30/FD60 standards and are fully compliant for audit.Fitting and adjusting fire-rated ironmongery, closers, and intumescent strips.Qualifications (Preferred)CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Worker preferred).NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry and Joinery.Asbestos Awareness certification.
