Working as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Learning Facilitator plays a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, both in and out of the classroom. In addition to providing tailored academic and emotional support within the school setting, they help students develop essential life skills by guiding them through real-world experiences. This often includes accompanying students on trips into the community, such as teaching them how to navigate public transport, use the bus safely and independently, and interact confidently in everyday situations. By bridging the gap between structured learning and practical application, the Learning Facilitator empowers students to gain confidence, independence, and the skills needed for daily living.Who is this role suitable for?This role would be ideal for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, HLTA, or Qualified SEN Teacher.
