Senior Procurement Specialist - 6 month contract - Glasgow - £365 per day via umbrellaOne of Loriens leading Public Sector Clients are looking for a highly experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join their team on an initial 6 month contract (possible chance of extension to 12 month mark)The position is based in Glasgow and will require you to be on site 2x per week.Brief summary of roleLead end-to-end procurement processes for high-value and/or high-risk contracts in line with the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014 and Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015 and best practice. This includes procurement strategy development, tender management, and evaluation to contract award. Draft all procurement and contract documentation and use relevant tools and systems including Public Contracts Scotland and Public Contracts Scotland - Tender.Engage and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority - providing expert commercial advice to internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance, value for money, and risk mitigation.Manage supplier relationships and contract performance to ensure delivery of agreed outcomes using contract/supplier reviews and appropriate management information to identify risks to delivery, time, cost, and quality.
