Interim Financial Accountant (6-Month Contract)/ Hybrid (3 days office, 2 wfh)We are looking for an experienced Interim Financial Accountant to join a group finance function on a 6-month fixed term contract. This is a varied role which will start by supporting the Technical Accounting team, before transitioning to assist the Group Reporting team.Technical Accounting Support an integration project, with an emphasis on technical accounting.Draft and model papers for the Audit Committee, including complex transactions and IFRS 15 contract reviews.Maintain and update group accounting policies and procedures.Provide technical accounting guidance to divisional and central finance teams.Lead impairment reviews and contribute to developments in IFRS and UK GAAP.Group ReportingAssist with the preparation of year-end financial statement notes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.Prepare and audit major joint venture and subsidiary accounts.Liaise with local finance teams and external auditors to ensure accurate reporting.About YouQualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).Strong IFRS expertise, with experience in audit and financial governance.Previous experience drafting papers for audit committeeProven experience in external statutory reporting and accounting.Previous exposure to listed group reporting is desirable.Confident stakeholder engagement skills with a collaborative approach.Available at short notice and able to work in the office 3 days a week.Enjoys working in a ..... full job details .....
