Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the capability to interpret technical drawings, ensuring high-quality assembly and fabrication of components. Duties Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications. Operate welding equipment primarily in both MIG and TIG Welding - any experience in MMA Welding would also be beneficial. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials. Able to perform both in the workshops and fit out on site. Read and interpret engineering drawings. Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality. Experience Proven experience in welding and fabrication is essential. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
