As we continue to grow and evolve, we''re looking for a skilled and strategic Financial Controller to join our senior leadership team and help drive the next chapter of our success.The RoleAs Financial Controller, youll take full ownership of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight across all financial functions. Reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with the senior management team, youll play a key role in shaping our financial direction, supporting operational efficiency, and maximizing profitability. Support will also be offered by our Ownership Company, IQSA, and Management Company, Countrywide Hotels.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all aspects of the hotels financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting
Produce timely monthly management accounts and financial statements in line with deadlines
Monitor key performance indicators and deliver insightful financial analysis to support decision-making
Oversee payroll, purchasing, credit control, and revenue auditing processes
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax obligations, and internal controls
Support and advise department heads on budgetary performance and cost controls
Liaise with external auditors, banks, and stakeholders as required
Manage and develop the finance team, ensuring high standards of accuracy and efficiency
About YouFully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role, ideally within hospitality or a similar service-led industry
A good working knowledge of Sage is desirable
Strong knowledge of financial systems, budgeting tools, and management reporting
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and support at all levels
Commercially minded, analytical, and solutions-focused
Hands-on, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
