Overview Adept Resourcing are recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with TIG welding experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving mechanical systems and equipment across the site, as well as carrying out high-quality TIG welding work when required. This role will suit someone with strong hands-on mechanical skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work effectively within a busy maintenance team.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on plant machinery and equipmentDiagnose and rectify mechanical breakdowns quickly and efficiently to minimise downtimeUndertake TIG welding and fabrication tasks to a high standard, including pipework, structural components, and equipment repairsAssist in coordinating machine downtime and large-scale planned maintenance projectsConduct thorough risk assessments prior to all tasks, following site health and safety proceduresEnsure all work is completed in compliance with relevant regulations and standardsCollaborate with colleagues and contractors to complete maintenance tasks on time and to specificationMaintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesRequired Skills and QualificationsProven TIG welding skills and experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skillsExperience with fabrication, fitting, and ..... full job details .....
