Senior Estimator (Civils) We''re looking for a Senior Estimator to join our Natural Resources Team, with a focus on Civils you''ll cover estimating duties on our new Southern Water framework.Location : With remote working, you''ll also be able to travel to client sites and offices across the Southern Water contract. Contract : Permanent, Full Time - flexible and part time hours may be available if desired, just let us knowWhat are my responsibilities in this role? As a Civils Senior Estimator you''ll work closely with other members of our framework delivery team and the Client, to deliver value for money solutions for the Civils elements of work in line with framework requirements.Your day to day will include: Input into all aspects of the pre-construction phase of projects, including early contractor involvement and carrying out pre-work prior to tenders arriving. Preparing multi-discipline tender pricing with the ability to produce differing levels of pricing, from top-down budgets to bottom-up lump sums or targets. Read and understand client specifications and drawings whilst considering site safety, health, quality and environmental issues. Attend internal and external review and progress meetings as well as site visits/meetings. Ascertain preliminary and detailed project requirements and solutions, including programmes and value engineering solutions, with identification of risk and opportunities. What are we looking for?
