Financial Reporting Manager
A travel and transport business is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) candidate to join its finance function. You''ll act as the vital link between the finance team, the wider business, and external funders and shareholders, turning data into action and financial insight into performance. You will provide strategic financial insight and challenge, and lead on balance sheet and cashflow forecasting and reporting. You will support informed decision-making and effective financial stewardship by proactively identifying opportunities to improve financial reporting, control effectiveness, and data quality. You will also support the business in adapting to new reporting, regulatory, and contractual requirements. Main duties include: Prepare statutory accounts, tax packs, and supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory, contractual, and Group reporting requirements. Prepare periodic IFRS journals and ensure accurate reconciliation between local ledgers and Group reporting systemsProduce and review balance sheet reconciliations highlighting periodic movement causes, ensuring all balances are fully supported and auditable. Prepare the timely submission of audit deliverables, acting as a point of contact for external auditors. Work closely with the FPandA, Financial Processing and Payroll teams to help them complete accurate monthly Group balance sheet and cashflow reporting including providing clear and insightful variance analysis and ..... full job details .....
