About the Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Computer Science lessons
- Support students in developing coding, programming, and analytical problem-solving skills
- Assess and mark student work, monitor progress, and provide meaningful feedback
- Ensure the ICT suite is well-maintained, organised, and fully resourced
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and enhance the Computer Science curriculum
- Contribute to wider school life, including extracurricular activities and staff duties
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Proven experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level
- In-depth understanding of the UK Computer Science curriculum
- Dynamic and hands-on teaching style that engages and inspires learners
- Confident classroom management and the ability to foster a positive learning environment
- Possess an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
