About the Role:

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Computer Science lessons
• Support students in developing coding, programming, and analytical problem-solving skills
• Assess and mark student work, monitor progress, and provide meaningful feedback
• Ensure the ICT suite is well-maintained, organised, and fully resourced
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and enhance the Computer Science curriculum
• Contribute to wider school life, including extracurricular activities and staff duties

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification (preferred but not essential)
• Proven experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level
• In-depth understanding of the UK Computer Science curriculum
• Dynamic and hands-on teaching style that engages and inspires learners
• Confident classroom management and the ability to foster a positive learning environment
• Possess an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
