We are currently looking for a skilled Fire Alarm Installation Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a great opportunity to work with a rapidly growing company that values professionalism and dedication to quality.

As a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire alarm systems across various sites in Essex and London. Your main duties will include:

• Installation of fire alarm systems (conventional, addressable, and hybrid systems).

• Conducting site surveys and providing technical support.

• Carrying out commissioning and testing of fire alarm systems.

• Ensuring compliance with relevant fire safety standards and regulations.

• Carrying out routine maintenance and servicing of fire alarm systems.

• Responding to emergency call-outs and providing after-hours support when needed.

• Maintaining accurate service records and documentation.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in fire alarm installation and maintenance.

• Knowledge of fire alarm systems, including conventional and addressable systems.

• Full understanding of fire safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., BS 5839).

• Electrical background or relevant qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).

• Clean driving license and willingness to travel to different job sites in Essex and London.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Desirable:

• Experience with intruder alarms and other fire safety systems (e.g., emergency lighting, CCTV).

• Previous experience in a supervisory role or a senior engineering position.

• Fire alarm commissioning experience (optional but preferred).
