Platinum Group are seeking a highly skilled Electronic Trading Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in Solace messaging technologies to join our Capital Markets Practice. We would engage you on a programme with an Investment banking client to play a key role in delivering and supporting low-latency trading infrastructure that underpins global FX and Fixed Income electronic trading platforms. This is a hands-on engineering position focused on messaging Middleware performance, connectivity, and observability in a high-performance trading environment. What You''ll Do Design, implement, and support Solace messaging solutions across electronic trading applications, ensuring low latency, high availability, and resilience. Define Solace usage standards and best practices, and partner with development teams to ensure effective adoption. Collaborate closely with network, platform, and application teams to deliver reliable and scalable trading infrastructure. Develop monitoring and alerting frameworks for Solace environments using tools such as Corvil, Wireshark, ITRS Geneos, and custom telemetry stacks. Conduct performance analysis, tuning, and capacity planning for Solace and related messaging layers. Automate infrastructure deployment, health checks, and operational workflows using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
