Salary £25,185 - £25,989 per annum (Pro Rata) | Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week | Preston and South Ribble Disability Day Service

Schedule Type: 37 hours Monday – Friday between 08:30am – 17:00pm
Responsibilities
To support people with disabilities, including individuals with profound and complex needs, using person centred approaches to enable people to achieve positive outcomes as defined in their support plan.
To support people with dignity and respect in order to meet their day-to-day needs, including personal care supports.
To support individuals to access a range of opportunities and experiences, including for example swimming, walking, bowling, dancing, shopping, art groups, cooking activities and making new friendships etc.
To work in accordance with relevant national legislation and service specific policies and practice guidelines at all times.
Skills and Experience
Experience of working with adults who have a learning disability is desirable but not essential as you will be given the necessary support and training to undertake this role.
Applicants who do not hold NVQ Level 3 at the time of appointment will be required to complete QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Please note this training will be funded by the Service).
