Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Bury, Manchester Start Date: Monday, 9th March 2026 Contract: Full-Time Term-Time Only Salary: £105 - £140 per day (depending on experience) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm About the School We are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive SEND primary school in Bury, which is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. The school provides specialist support for pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), and complex communication needs. In this full-time role, you will work with pupils across Key Stage 1 (ages 5-7) and Key Stage 2 (ages 7-11), supporting both their academic development and social-emotional growth. You will play a key role in building positive relationships with pupils while delivering one-to-one and small group support, helping to create an environment where every child feels supported and encouraged to reach their potential.
