Site Engineer / Section Engineer

Hours: Full-time, Days

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer / Section Engineer to join a major civils and infrastructure project in Cambridge. This role is focused more on technical assurance and oversight than on traditional setting out.

Key Responsibilities:

·Review and check engineering work carried out by others on site.
·Manage and respond to TQs and RFIs in a timely and accurate manner.
·Maintain a strong focus on quality control and compliance with project specifications and standards.
·Liaise with the site team, subcontractors, and the wider project management team to ensure works progress smoothly.
·Support site documentation and maintain accurate records for auditing and project reporting purposes.

About You:

·Proven experience as a Site Engineer or Section Engineer on civils/infrastructure projects.
·Strong knowledge of quality assurance, compliance, and site coordination processes.
·Confident in checking the work of others and ensuring adherence to design and standards.
·Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

This role offers a single-site focus on a significant Cambridge project through to Spring 2026.
