Salary: MPS/UPS – £29,344 to £44,919
Contract: Full Time | Start Date: September 2025

As an SEN teacher, you’ll deliver tailored, trauma-informed learning that builds confidence, celebrates diversity, and empowers each child to reach their full potential. • Deliver adaptive, multi-sensory teaching that meets the needs of learners with a range of additional needs (including ASD, SEMH, and MLD)

• Create a safe, predictable learning environment rooted in relational and restorative practice

• Develop individualised learning plans in line with EHCPs and track small-step progress

• Use strategies that support self-regulation, communication, and independence

• Work closely with LSAs, therapists, SENCOs, and families to provide joined-up, wraparound support

• Promote emotional wellbeing and resilience as part of a whole-child approach

• Maintain the highest standards in safeguarding, professional conduct, and SEND compliance

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

• Experience working in SEN settings or with children with additional needs

• Deep understanding of inclusive pedagogy and barrier-free learning

• Confident in using visual supports, sensory tools, and assistive technology

• Emotionally intelligent, calm under pressure, and skilled in de-escalation techniques

• Committed to continuous development and building strong professional relationships
