Overview

We are currently seeking to employ a Temporary Works Designer to work for our client, a leading construction company working on a major railway/infrastructure project in the Yorkshire region.Responsibilities

Work as part of the Temporary Works Team to develop temporary work design solutions for live projects and tenders on the large infrastructure project.Deliver safe, practical, economical and sustainable temporary works designs.Contribute to a wide range of applications including earthworks, earth retaining structures, foundations, structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, timber, and formwork/falsework.Qualifications

Experience in civil/structural engineering design for structures commonly required by BAM UKandI, which may include earthworks, earth retaining structures, foundations, structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, timber and formwork/falsework.Experience in the use of a range of civil/structural engineering design/analysis software and draughting/modelling packages.Experience in construction methods and processes.Degree in Civil Engineering or a related subject.
