Job Title: Logistics Manager

Liberty Recruitment Group is delighted to be working exclusively with a leading distributor in supporting them in their search for a Logistics Manager. This is a full-time, permanent position and is predominantly office-based.

The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for the operational management of the logistics, transport and warehouse functions.

Some of your duties will include:

• Ensuring employees adhere to Health & Safety
• Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on the depot KPI’s
• Responsible for Depot Financial budgeting and control
• Managing and motivating a team of 8 which may soon grow to 13
• Ensuring optimum utilisation of resources, drivers and vehicles
• Building and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients and suppliers

The ideal candidate:

You will have previous experience in a similar logistics environment.

You will need an excellent working knowledge of H&S practices, people management experience and strong leadership skills. You will also need to be a team builder, motivating, and keen to lead by example.
