We are working with a well-established accountancy firm based in the Worthing Area and are looking to appoint a capable and motivated Semi-Senior Accountant to join our close-knit team.This is a key role within a small practice environment, where you will take responsibility for preparing VAT returns, producing accounts, and supporting a range of ad-hoc accounting tasks. The position offers strong variety and the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals.Key Responsibilities:Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing VAT returnsPreparing quarterly MTD submissionsProducing annual and periodic financial statementsAssisting with tax computations and corporation tax returnsSupporting the wider team with general accounting duties as requiredRequirements:Minimum 3 years'' experience within a UK accountancy practiceSolid understanding of standard accounting principles and methodsProficiency in accounting software including Excel, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and ideally IRIS Accountancy SuiteStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective internal and external relationshipsA collaborative team player with good time-management skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesSelf-motivated and able to manage tasks independentlyRole Details:Office hours are 09:00 - 17:30Fully office based with parking nearbySalary is depending on experienceThey are looking to interview for this role immediately, so please submit a ..... full job details .....
