We''re working in partnership with a warm and welcoming school in Gosport who are looking for a nurturing Early Years Practitioner to join their team. If you''re passionate about supporting young children to thrive emotionally, socially and academically - we''d love to hear from you!

Contract: Full time - September 2025 start

Salary: andpound;13 - andpound;15 per hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  Supporting children''s learning and development through a mix of child-led and adult-initiated activities

  
  



• 
  

  Encouraging independence, curiosity and social confidence in every child

  
  



• 
  

  Helping to establish clear routines that promote calm, consistency and a sense of security

  
  



• 
  

  Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework and classroom ethos

  
  



• 
  

  Observing, recording and contributing to the assessment of children''s progress

  
  



• 
  

  Supporting children with additional needs where required

  
  



• 
  

  Providing personal care and promoting wellbeing throughout the day

  
  



• 
  

  Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, confidentiality and professionalism

  
  

What We''re Looking For:

• 
  

  A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (preferred, but not essential)

  
  



• 
  

  Experience in a nursery or early years classroom setting

  
  



• 
  

  A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development

  
  



• 
  

  A warm, patient and enthusiastic approach, with a good sense of humour!

  
  



• 
  

  A team player with strong communication skills and a genuine love for helping little ones grow

  
  



• 
  

  A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and child-centred practice

  
  



• 
  

  Confident English, Maths and IT skills
