My client is a well-known global insurance business seeking a lawyer to join their central legal team supporting the entire group.

Team OverviewThis team currently comprises 4 lawyers and handles a wide range of complex contracts, including general IT and reinsurance deals. The team provides a comprehensive view of the entire business and supports major projects on a cross-border basis, including work within the EU and US.

Team Environment and FlexibilityThe team maintains strong relationships with the business, and staff tend to stay long-term. They offer excellent flexibility, requiring presence in the office 1-2 days a week, with the new offices being fantastic.

Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate has 2-4 years PQE, with some in-house experience preferred but not essential. Exposure to insurance or financial services is a plus, but candidates with relevant transferable experience will also be considered.

Requirements

Common law qualified Solicitor based in the UK, with no sponsorship required.

Ability to work from anywhere in the UK, with at least weekly access to London.
