Quality Technician

Salary:             £36 – 42k + 26 days holiday + pension + excellent career progression

Location:         Deeside

Hours:             Monday to Friday daytime

A genuinely superb & quite unique opportunity to join a market leading business to help setting up and shaping a manufacturing department / plant. 

The Person:

• BRC and regulatory compliance experience. Food, FMCG, packaging, materials manufacturing background may be suitable.  
• Working closely with Quality Manager and other members of the quality team across a large modern site.
• Good interpersonal and engagement skills, stakeholder engagement and communication with machine operators, engineers to senior leaders.
• NPI or NPD experience would be an advantage.

The Job:

• Help maintaining and developing quality policy, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and leading continuous improvement initiatives that protect consumer safety and satisfaction.
• Participate in the internal audit programme and provide assistance during external audits
• Help oversee packaging development projects.
• Implement and handle certification schemes, ensuring all standards are met.
• Investigate and manage customer and consumer complaints, including drafting responses and managing databases.
• Act as a point of contact with customers on product specifications.
• Generate and modify process documentation.
