Our client is looking for an experienced and driven Supply Chain Manager to lead and develop their procurement and logistics operations. This is a key strategic role, but very hands on, to ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently to support the continued growth of the business. Key Responsibilities: Procurement Management: Oversee stock ordering and drop-ship purchasing to maintain optimal inventory levels.Develop supplier relationships and negotiate terms to ensure value, quality, and reliability. System Oversight: Ensure internal systems are kept accurate and up to date.Confirm and update purchase orders based on supplier confirmations.Actively follow up with suppliers to chase and secure confirmations and delivery dates. Logistics and Shipping: Plan and coordinate container shipments from international suppliers.Manage inbound logistics and work closely with freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery. Strategic Supply Chain Planning: Monitor supply chain performance and implement improvements.Identify and mitigate risks within the supply process.Work cross-functionally with operations and sales teams to forecast demand and manage lead times.
