Graduate Design Engineer

Excellent opportunity for a Graduate Design Engineer to join a growing business offering a hands-on role with involvement from concept through to manufacture.

This role would suit a recent graduate with experience using 3D CAD who is looking to develop their skills in a practical environment, closely linked to production and manufacturing.

The company are well established and continue to see strong demand, leading to expansion within the design team to support ongoing projects and future growth.

In this role, you will assist with design work, produce drawings, and support the wider engineering team. You will work closely with different departments to ensure designs are practical and suitable for manufacture.

This is a varied position offering a mix of design, problem solving, and hands-on involvement, with full training and the opportunity to develop within a supportive and forward-thinking team.

The Role

• Supporting 3D CAD design using SolidWorks (or similar)
• Assisting with producing drawings and new part designs
• Working closely with the shop floor, fabrication and suppliers

The Person

• Experience with 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
• Degree or background in mechanical, product or design engineering
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
