Bedford – Office Based
Basic salary of c.£40,000; Uncapped commissions (realistic OTE of £60,000 – £80,000 pa)
Join a rapidly growing energy consultancy as a Sales Manager and grow with us to become our Sales Director.
You'll be overseeing a sales team of 15+, which is projected to grow to 25 within the next 12 months and help us deliver our ambitious growth targets.
About You
We need an individual who has experience in running a sales team, ideally in a telesales environment. The ideal candidate shall be KPI-driven, have a strong background in coaching and personal development, whilst also being comfortable holding both development and difficult conversations with members of the team.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years managing B2B telesales teams of 10+ people.
- Proven track record of exceeding team targets.
- Energy Industry experience is preferable but not necessary.
- Excellent communication skills, listening skills and coaching skills.
- Strong people manager.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics.

About the Role
You will be heading up our growing sales team of 15+, which has doubled in the last 12 months and has ambitious growth plans.
Our main route to market is through outbound calling to UK-based businesses. The sales team are responsible for gathering key information and building relationships with potential clients. The team receives a commission from every opportunity generated and a further commission for every opportunity converted with uncapped potential earnings.
As the Sales Manager you will run and manage the team, on a day-to-day basis and will be:
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 15+ salespeople across different levels of the business.
- Setting and appraising performance in relation to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Report directly to the Directors.
We're looking for a proactive candidate who brings new ideas into the business and can grow with us and eventually step into the Sales Director role.
