Sharp Consultancy are working with a rapidly growing business based in Barnsley that are looking for a Deputy Finance Manager to join their team on a full time and permanent basis. The main duties of this role will include: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Transactional finance team Oversee the accuracy and integrity of Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and payroll data. Act as the key liaison between the finance department and other business areas Maintain and manage IT Systems within the finance department Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including KPIs and Reconciliation of invoicing accounts Ensure sales, costs and payroll are properly handled and accounted for. Skills and experience required: Minimum 2 years experience in a finance department with strong expertise with Sage 50 accounts and payroll. Proven ability to manage and motivate a team Excellent communication and relationship building skills Advanced experience with Microsoft office and in particular Excel Experience managing and improving account systems and procedures This is a brilliant opportunity to join an exciting, fast paced business where you can develop a team as well as your own abilities.
