We are working with a thriving and inclusive secondary school located on the outskirts of Leighton Buzzard, currently seeking a dedicated and innovative Design andamp; Technology Teacher to join their team from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach DT across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a well-equipped department with access to modern facilities and strong leadership support.

What You''ll Be Doing:

  Planning and delivering engaging DT lessons (including Resistant Materials, Product Design, or Engineering, depending on your specialism)

• 
  

  Supporting students in developing practical skills and preparing for GCSE DT assessments

• 
  

  Promoting creativity, problem-solving, and independent thinking through design-based projects

• 
  

  Maintaining a safe and inspiring learning environment in workshops and classrooms

• 
  

  Contributing to departmental planning and extra-curricular enrichment

What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:

• 
  

  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Design andamp; Technology at secondary level

• 
  

  Strong subject knowledge and confidence in delivering a range of DT disciplines

• 
  

  A passion for engaging young people in hands-on, creative learning
