Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver – Trunking (Depot to Depot)
Location: E16 Silvertown, East London
Salary: £22.00 per hour
Hours: 7 days a week operation, with 3–4 shifts per week. Shifts are approximately 10–12 hours, starting midday to mid-afternoon.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join the team of the UK’s first and only fully electric parcel delivery company. As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for trunking work between depots, ensuring efficient and safe transportation of goods while representing a forward-thinking and environmentally conscious business. This role is ideally suited to experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers who are looking for consistent work with a professional company leading the way in sustainable parcel delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out HGV Class 1 Driver trunking routes between depots

Safely operating an electric-powered fleet vehicle

Ensuring timely and secure delivery of goods

Conducting vehicle checks and reporting any defects

Complying with all relevant driving regulations, company procedures, and health & safety standards
 

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver

Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence

CPC and Digi Tacho Card

Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safe practices

Professional, reliable, and flexible approach to work
