Carpenter for perm position in london Main purpose of role: The Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Plumber must have formal qualifications and a strong understanding of health and safety regulations. Carpentry Work: Complete a wide range of carpentry tasks, including fitting doors, repairing or replacing floorboards, skirting, architraves, and kitchen units. Install and repair fixtures and fittings such as locks, hinges, handles, and other woodwork items. Repairs and Maintenance: Conduct void repairs to ensure properties are ready for re-letting. Undertake general property maintenance tasks, such as patch repairs, minor plastering, and basic plumbing if required. Mould Treatments: Assist in the treatment of mould issues using specialist products and techniques, ensuring properties meet required standards. Retrofits: Install loft and underfloor insulation. Prepare and finish properties after internal wall insulation has been installed. Collaboration: Work both independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
